if you want to stand a chance when playing on legendary.

This is a tip not a cheat. Many people discard the handgun whenever they ca, especially those who are new to the game. Don't. When used properly even on legendary, a handgun can finish off an elite very quickly providing you get headshots, so practice and aim carefully but quickly and you will see how useful the handgun really is.

During the game

When you run into the race known as the Flood, turn your flashlight on and point it at them. The large guy will stop running and jumping so they are easier to shoot. If you raise your gun to reload or turn away from them or take the light off of them, they will resume running and will try to kill you again. Although they stand still when you point the flashlight at them, they may still shoot if they have a gun, so kill them quickly

Level:assault on the control room

get to the scorpion tank,kill all the enemies in the next area and when you get to the entrance to the cave you have to get ot to open the door but instead of crrying on on foot get back in the tank. It will make things much easier when you get to the room with the bridge in the middle because there are hordes of enemies including a couple of hnters. You can keep the tank until you get to the next group of Marines.

during the game

throw a plasma genade on to the floor,then quickly without moving anything throw another plasmma grenade,watch for a great show,(maybe try with a few more grenades)

assault on the control room level 5

search all areas inside buildings and bridges carefully, you should find a gun which is like a rocket launcher but has plasma rockets which explode on impact, it is a covenant super weapon!
I am not lying as i have done it myself on several occasions.

On the bridge on Assault on teh control room, where it says "if i had a super weapon"

As soon as you get to this bridge, turn to your left and walk off the side. Make sure you hug the wall and hit the snow bank where it is at its highest and you will survive. Kudos for this goes to Nathan Pothecary, a true Halo master.

anytime

trhow a plasma grenade and as soon as it lands throw another one next to it. The explosion of the first grenade will send the other one flying. if you want the grenade to go left throw the second grenade to the left of the first and vice verca for right. (note:this cheat needs a bit of practice to get it right so I advise practising on Multiplayer) This cheat is useful if an enemy is wiating for you to come around the corner so he can blast you so you can kill them and they won't know what hit them

During the game

If you are finding it hard to kill the flood. When you have killed some of them, you will pick up a shotgun from them, this is the best gun to kill them with. Also, like the cheat above, a hundgun is also good to kill them with but the ammo runs out quickly!

When on the map Sidewinder, on the blue side of the map. Go up the bank with a Scorpion tank. Turn right when you come up the bank and then Place the Tank Sideways with the front of the tank half way into the entrace then get a ghost and drive it up the side of the tank and it should get you out of the map... ///\\\ If you go close to the edge you can shoot people and they can't see you ///\\\
