Shifting materia about, get barrtes hp to sit on 7777, and at the start of fights it will say 'lucky 7', at this point barret will automattically keep firing his weapon, each bullet doing 7 damage, which will be enough to kill a weapon boss!

On your way down to the underwater reactor, in the tunnel leading to it, keep fighting, and you will come actroos a monster that is a ship with a skeleton on the front of it. Weaken this monster, and cast morph on it, and it will be transformed into a guide book, give this guide book to a person in kalm, and he will give you a cool item.

In the sunken cargo plane (need submarine to get to), there are crazt powerful monsters. If you keep casting matra magic on them and lower their life enough, morph them using the morph materia, and the different speices will give different sources. Very useful items, which permanently increase strenth, defence etc.

It isnt essential, but makes life easier. Keep bashing into weapon as he flies through the air, and it will stop above a city, defeat him above every city, and he will eventually stop above cosmo canyon. Defeat him here, and you will receive clouds ultimate weapon. But when ultiamte weapon explodes he makes it possible to reach a place above cosmo canyon that looks like green jelly. Basically here is the low down to chocobo breeding.
Get a great(from the chocobo tracks by mideel) and good(from tracks by gold saucer/desert prison)chocobo to geta blue chocobo.
By race the great and good chocobos to class a in the gold saucer, and make them have another baby, this time it will be green.
Race the blue and green chocobos to class a, and breed them to get a black chocobo.
Catch a wonderful chocobo from the tracks up in the snowy place, and race this up to class a in the chocobo races. Race the black one to class a also.
Now to get the godl one from the black and wonderful chocobo, go to an island up the top right of the map, to a place called goblin island. Kill a load of goblins, and eventually you will get a ZEIO nut.
Go back to the ranch, (save first as its hard to ge t a gold one) and breed the wonderful chocobo, and black one together feeding them the ZEIO nut.
When you obtain a gold chocobo, it can run anywhere, and you can finally get Knights of the round materia.
