First, make sure you go in just before the cock crows for morning.Then, find the sinking lure between the two rocks by the stream, or around the grass around the outside of the pond. Put your iron boots and zora tunic on (you must be an adult) and search around for a blackish, eel type fish. You'll know if its there or not:if not go back out and try again. Wait for the loach to come up for air, he will go to the middle of the pond, cast your line, and hope he bites it! Have patience, it might take 5, 10 or even 15 minutes. Once he has bitten the line you shouldn't have too much of a problem reeling him in. It will weight from 30-35 pounds, and the owner will say that the population of these fish are declining so he puts it back. He does give you a purple rupee for your work though!

When you walk into the fishing pond go straight and buy you rod for 20 rupees as soon as you get it walk round the left side f the pond untill you get to the lilypads turn around and you will see a log sticking out of the water run straight through the water and onto that log (when you do this DONOT swim it will scare it away) if you do swim then i don't no where it goes. anyway when you do WALK on to the log when youn get to the stick sticking out of the water you should find the sinking lure but if you don't do it in one smooth move (all together with out a break) then you will find it!!!!!
