For these to work, you must use them once you get to Level 3 because on Level 3, there will be two solid symbols under the image for the mission, and a transparent symbol. All of these items will go either to your inventory or the shop in special mode, notated with the Shop or Inv. in the "Unlockable" area, confirming which one they go to.
