Take around 70-100 pikmin any type remember 2 things when first there well armoured and second there attack can kill any pikmin in the way the key to kill one is throw a pikmin at its mouth untill one grabs hold preventing him from getting air to fire a boulder the beetle will then open its wing case to shake off the attacker see were im going...... then as it opens its wing case attack inside a beetle is worth 50 pikmin in the onion a prize!!!!

When you have all types go to the first level go in to the big arena fight the boss (ice man or amboda)next break down the wall. Then take some blue pikmin in the water attack the bubble in the oyster. When a strange ball falls out take that back to an onion and gain 50 pikmin
