Instead of leaving a versus match on for 20 hours their is a different way of unlocking Mewtwo. Go to custom rules on versus and put the match type to stock match and put the number of lives to 1. Once this is done exit custom rules and start a versus match using any 2 characters. Then when the match has started just make yourself fall off the arena and that would be 1 match done (each match should take around 3 seconds if your fighting on a small arena or 7 seconds if your fighting on a larger one). Do this 700 times and Mewtwo will be yours.hooooraaaaaay!

when the match starts stay where you are.he should use falcon punch.as soon as you see the fire press R to put up your shield, then when he is in front of you let go of R and hold B.as soon as you have him in your mouth jump off the platform to your left.he should break out of your mouth just before you go off the bottom of the screen, therefore he will fall off the bottom of the screen before you.even if you fall off the bottom aswell, he died first so it doesn't count and you still have all your lives.SIMPLE

How:
Pick up the Super Scope, and shoot off 15 normal (uncharged) shots. Note that the Scope fires uncharged shots in volleys of three, so to fire 15 shots, simply tap the A Button 5 times. Then, fire off two fully charged shots. Finally, start charging another shot, but allow yourself to get hit. You'll then have unlimited shots with the Super Scope. If you don't get hit the first time, you can try again as many times as you need. The Scope won't be able to fire off the third charged shot and will just 'splutter', so start charging again, and when you do get hit you'll have infinite ammo!
