Talk to Akara about den of evil (before you do it) and when your talking hold down 's' and 'p' after you do the den of evil go to her and get your skill point, after this go back to her and hold 's' and 'p' and you get a free skill point, do this as many times as you want (note this may cause your player to be deleted if used on battlenet) dont do it loads cos the game will be too easy!

After you respawn, type in the phrase: THEDARKMUSTFEED Look in your inventory and you will have the Stroke of Death.

Note: This only works on Open Battlenet, as the
characters need to be saved on your computer. This
trick also requires two computers with two copies of
Diablo 2.
Get the items you want to duplicate. Copy the "Save"
folder from the Diablo 2 folder of that computer and paste
it on your desktop. Go online with both computers and meet
in a game.
Give the items to be duplicated to the second computer,
then save and exit. Press [Alt] + Tab] on the
first computer to switch to Windows and copy the "Save"
folder from your desktop back to its original location,
overwriting its current contents. Return and join the
other computer in the game. You will now have all your
original items and the other computer will have a copy of
them.
This trick will not work with the +1 Skill book from Act 2.

Effect: allows you to keep your money after you die

drop your gold behind an object(EG WALL) then go back and do any thing u want with out having to worry about losing gold by being killed, warning dont attempt this on B.net unless your confident it wont be seen / taken

Effect: Dual Weapons

1.) Look at the 1 and 2 slots on your Inventory screen.
2.) Put one item you want to use in the slot farthest to the left in the 1 slot.
3.) Take the other item, switch to the 2 slot, then bring it over to the slot farthest to the right but don't drop it in.
4.) Press W and right after (like a split-second) click the slot to put the item in.
That's all you have to do!It only shows one weapon,but it adds the mods together.
DON'T TRY THIS ON A BARBARIAN! IT DELETES THE ITEMS!

How:
after you die and you don't want to go through the trouble of getting your body back, press esc and then save and exit, come back in the game, and your body weill be right there in the town!

Death Sentry: 20
Wake of Inferno: 20
Shadow Master: 20
If you have any spare skill points, put them on Lightning Web.
To duel someone really well, do Blade Shield and Shadow Master and run out of town, making them follow you. Every so often, put down a Death Sentry or a Wake of inferno. Drink mana potions every so often to allow yourself to create many traps. Keep moving at all times.

When you have the Horadaric Cube, get "Wert's Leg" in Tristram (where you go to rescue Deckhard Cain). Then go to the northwest part of the town and search that persons body. Place the Wert's leg and a Tome of Town Portal in the Horadaric Cube, and it will open a portal to the hidden cow level filled with axe carrying cows. You shouldent go through the portal until you are over level 35 because there are a lot of cows and there really strong..
