At the beginning of the game kill the 2 aliens and enter the room they emerged from. Then enter and hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 + X. Then die keep the buttons held during the FMV. The lighting of a green light confirms correct code entry and a new level from 1 to 16 may now be selected at the opening screen.
