Go into buy mode during the game.

Press shift+ctrl+c, a box should come up, type 'move_objects on' and press enter. Go back into buy mode, if you select your sim, you can delete them! Go back to live mode; a cross hair will be on their portrait, click on the portrait and your sim will return, with full happiness!

Make sure you dont have any cooking skills. Then when you cook food in a bad mood, the stove has a chance of catching fire. When it does dont call the fire department or dont let them come in any other way. The fire should spread and catch onto a person which they will eventually shrivel away.
