Complete Sebastian's "Repentance" companion quest. Go to the Chantry and don't speak to Sebastian. Talk to the Grand Cleric and keep selecting the "You're Useless" dialog option. Repeat for as many points as you like.

Use a Maker's Sigh potion, save your game without using Ability points and re-load. You will notice you have a free skill. You can repeat this as long as you can buy a potion.
