First beat Classic Mode with all other characters. Then go to the Green Greens Melee Stage and eat every apple off of the tree. After both things are done, beat a level 9 Mario on the Hanabow Stage 99 times in the same battle with any character except Sonic, Snake, Mr Game & Watch, or R.O.B. Than Crash will challenge you. Beat him to unlock him.
