Before you load up the game, go to the civ2 folder usually located in the c:\mps\civ2 directory, then look for a file called rules.txt and load it up
How:
to do stuff to the game all you have to do is go down and modify the game rules, e.g. a favorate one of mine is to change the number of free units for fudmentalism to 1000, and i actually get 1000 free units per city, another favorate of mine is to edit the paradrop range of the paratroopers, i change it to 200 which allows it to paradrop within 200 squares of the city/airbase! one word of note though the cheat may not work if extra spaces (blank spaces) are add tot he end of each line, the game will not load up, also make a backup copy of the rules.txt before you edit it!
