When you have rocket skates/icarus wings/inner tube, drop back down to level 1. Go to the top right hand corner of the screen where you will find another island covered in presents! There is always one which will get you back.
Also, if you go to the bottom left hand corner on level 1 you will find another island. Drop down the middle of this and you will be able to get an extra life and top up energy from the lemonade seller.
