How:
When you enter the level, go towards the camera. keep walking until you come across 4 boxes, one being an extra-life.

How:
At the start of the level, let all the cars or UFOs speed ahead of you and just wait at the starting line for about 2 to five minutes. Now when you start the time trial, none of the cars or vehicles should get in your way.
